IMPACT

The potential of raspberry cultivation will not be recognized until the second year of the trial, although a strong interest is evident in growers within the state. A field day drew 25 people from five different counties.

INTRODUCTION

Raspberries are difficult to grow in North Carolina due to high temperatures. The purpose of the project was to look at different varieties, maturity dates and quality of fruit.
