Caution to Hay Producers, Livestock Owners, Farmers, and Home Gardeners

Certain herbicides can remain active in hay, straw, grass clippings, manure, and compost. They can damage vegetables, fruits, flowers, and other crops. The damage can be poor seed germination, death of young plants, cupping or twisting of leaves, misshapen fruit, or reduced crop yields.
