9/16/2025 - This morning I learned that not everyone knew about the WNC Regional Ginseng Workshop that is taking place in just a few days, so here is the information. There is still time to sign up and there are a few tickets left.

There have been some interesting changes in the world of ginseng! In this workshop we'll review growing, marketing, security and a variety of other topics around the production and sales of ginseng in Western North Carolina. We are excited to have Dr. Jeanine Davis and Dr. Jim Hamilton of NC State Cooperative Extension joining us. Registration is $30 and includes lunch and an ounce of ginseng seed. The agenda and registration are on Eventbrite.
