4/9/2025 - Our latest newsletter has been published and describes the early spring activities of the NC Alternative Crops and Organics Program. An opportunity to volunteer in our research hop yard in Mills River is presented, some upcoming events on forest farming are described, and a grant opportunity is provided. We are also seeking some serious funding to keep our amazing team employed during this time of lost, frozen, and uncertain funding. Our program is completely dependent on grants and gifts to cover employee salaries and operating costs.
