This annual family oriented harvest festival is held at Jefferson's beautiful Monticello estate just outside of Charlottesville, VA. It is well worth the drive to spend the weekend sampling heirloom tomatoes, learning homesteading skills, meeting your favorite gardening authors, and sampling the bounty from the summer's harvests.
