Our amazing 2025 NC Alternative Crops & Organics Program team in the Department of Horticultural Science at NC State University!
12/9/2025 – It has been a tough 15 months financially for our NC Alternative Crops & Organics Program. Delays and reductions in federal funding have greatly impacted us. We are hopeful that some pending proposals will be funded, but we will be short on funds starting in January. We have an amazing team and if we let anyone go, we won’t be able to do justice to the great work we are currently engaged in and won’t have the team members we planned on having for pending projects. So we are holding a month long fundraising campaign to keep our team employed in 2026. We call it Giving December! Check out our appeal in this ActiveCampaign letter.
