Collecting data on the 2017 industrial hemp planting in Waynesville, NC.

We have two temporary positions we are looking to fill in western North Carolina. One will work at the Mountain Research Station in Waynesville, NC, spending a good part of the time on projects our program (the NC Alternative Crops and Organics Program) on industrial hemp; organic tomatoes, onions, Southern peas, and summer squash; truffles; broccoli; and hops. The rest of the time will be spent on a wide variety of other projects on the research station. Get the details and apply for that position HERE.

The other position will be based out of the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center in Mills River and will work full-time in our program on all the above mentioned projects AND on medicinal herbs. Get the details and apply for that position HERE.
